Teresa is Portuguese with Mozambican roots. Graduated in Industrial Modeling, with a background in the area of design and art history.
Wardrobe professional since 1998 in the film, tv & advertising industry, where she crossed paths with prominent celebrities such as Pierce Brosnan, Danny Glover, Sir John Hurt, Charles Dance, Alexandra Maria Lara, Edward Hogg, Jean Reno, Guy Pierce, among many others.
In a language of multiculturalism and tailor-made design, Samissone has designed unique pieces for musicians, actors/actresses and influencers.
It was at the end of 2010 that Teresa started designing garments with a contemporary design that evolved, in 2012, into the Samissone brand.
Samissone is a slow fashion, contemporary brand that uses fabrics with African patterns. The garments stand out for their modelling designed according to the rich, colorful and dynamic patterns - resulting in collections of unique and exclusive pieces, full of African energy .
